Cologne Chess

Recommend a venue or correct an entry

This form is for a club, a school or library group, a meetup, a course or an open tournament in Köln, Bonn, Leverkusen or a Rhein-Erft or Rhein-Sieg town that is missing here, or for an entry that is wrong or out of date. Players, parents, coaches, organisers and club boards are all welcome to write.

A link helps more than anything: a club page, a league fixture list, a programme leaflet, a FIDE listing or a dated post. Notes wait for the next revision, where each is compared with the page it names; every resulting change is dated in the history of list edits.

What is your note about?
Missing place: what kind of chess, and on which days. Mistake: the line of the entry that is wrong.
A link to a club page, league fixtures, a programme, a FIDE listing or a dated post.
Needed for the note; it is never shown on the site.
A phone number or a messenger handle works too, for anyone who prefers not to give an email.

One contact of any kind is enough. It is never published and is used only for a reply, if one is needed.

How the contents of this form are handled is described in the data protection notice.

What happens to the note

  • Notes are collected until the next reading of the guide.
  • Each is then compared with the pages of the club, school or organiser; where they confirm it, the entry is changed and the change is dated in the list of edits.
  • If no page supports the note, the entry stays as it is, with its not-confirmed mark if it has one.
  • A reply comes only when the note asks for one and leaves a contact.
