Data protection notice

Contents of a note

A note contains the name and the contact you entered and the message itself: the place, what should change, where to check it and how you know the place. It also carries the address and language of the page the form was sent from. One hidden field that people never see is there only to catch spam robots.

Use of notes

Notes are held by a form service until they are read at the next revision. They are used only to check and apply what they report, and nobody is contacted unless the note asks for a reply and gives a contact. Names and contacts are never shown on the site, never sold and never passed to the club, school or organiser concerned; the list of edits describes the change, not the person who reported it.

Visit counts without cookies

The site sets no cookies. A small script served from the site’s own domain counts page views without storing anything in the browser and without following visitors to other sites. A view records the page, the referring page, and the browser, type of device and country derived from the request; only totals are ever looked at.

No third-party content

Pages load no advertising, no social media buttons and no outside trackers, and take no fonts, maps or images from other servers. Links to sources and maps lead to other sites, each with its own privacy terms. Technical data such as IP addresses are processed by the hosting provider only as far as needed to deliver the pages.

Your GDPR rights

To have a note of yours corrected or deleted, send a new note through the form with the same name and contact and say so; the change is made at the next revision, and a reply comes only on request with a contact. A complaint can also go to a data protection supervisory authority, in North Rhine-Westphalia the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen.
